Every law firm licensed in China appears on a public register run by the Ministry of Justice. Here is our record, what each field means, and how to look it up yourself in about two minutes.
If you are reading this after a Chinese counterparty has already let you down, a reasonable question is whether the law firm you found online is real. It is a fair question — fake "China law firms" that target foreign creditors are a documented problem. The answer should never be a promise. It should be a record you can check without us.

Our live entry on the National Lawyer Credit Information Publicity System (credit.acla.org.cn), operated by the All China Lawyers Association under the Ministry of Justice. The register is published in Chinese only — that is simply how official Chinese records are kept. The numbered notes explain each field.

Open the official register.

Expect a sliding-puzzle check.
Drag the slider until the piece fits. This is a routine bot check on Chinese government sites — not a sign-up, a payment, or a form.
Switch the search subject to "law firm" — you must do this.
Just above the search box, 查询主体 ("search subject") shows two buttons. Whichever is selected appears as a white box with blue text; the other sits plain on the blue banner. The page opens with the first — 律师 (individual lawyer) — in the white box, so click 律师事务所 (law firm) and watch the white box move to it. Skip this and you will be searching the register of individual lawyers rather than firms — the two registers are kept separately, so make sure 律师事务所 (law firm) is the one selected.

The grey placeholder text tells you whether the switch worked: it should now read 请输入律师事务所中文名/统一社会信用代码 ("law firm's Chinese name or unified social credit code"). If it still reads 请输入律师中文名/执业证号, you are on the individual-lawyer search — go back to the previous step. You will not be able to type Chinese, so click to select, copy, and press the blue 搜索 (Search) button:

This is the certificate behind the register entry — the Law Firm Practice Licence issued by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice under the PRC Lawyers Law, showing the same Unified Social Credit Code you can check yourself.
