Before the first deposit

A company name is only the beginning.

Your quotation, business licence, contract and payment instructions should tell a coherent story about who is taking on the obligations and who will receive your money.

We connect the available records to the documents for your proposed purchase. The review helps you identify inconsistencies while there is still time to request clarification or adjust the transaction.

  • Know the counterparty. Compare the registered Chinese identity and status with the business licence and order documents.
  • Understand warning signs. Review available public enforcement, dishonest-debtor and other agreed risk records, and explain the issues they raise.
  • Question payment inconsistencies. Compare the contract party with the stated payee and identify mismatches that need explanation.
  • Prepare your next step. Receive an English report identifying findings, unresolved questions and points to address before payment.

We compare documents and public records. We do not independently certify ownership of a bank account or verify the person messaging you unless that work is separately agreed.

Two fixed-fee services

Choose the decision you need help with.

Both reviews are for proposed business purchases of US$50,000 or more and cover one Chinese legal entity. Choose a supplier check to understand the counterparty, or add contract review to examine the terms of the proposed deal.

“Who are we dealing with, and what needs clarification before payment?”

For buyers who want a lawyer to connect company records with the licence, order and payee details they have received.

  • Company identity: registration, current status and key available public-risk records.
  • Document consistency: business licence, contract-party name and stated payee-name comparison.
  • Legal interpretation: explain the concerns identified and the questions they raise for your proposed purchase.

We confirm scope, conflicts, the timetable and any applicable taxes or payment charges before engagement and payment. Site visits, factory capability and product inspections are outside both scopes. Extra entities, documents or urgent deadlines require a separate written quote. No payment is collected on this page.

What the report helps you do

Turn findings into questions you can act on.

Both services distinguish what the records support, what your documents state and what remains unverified. You can use the findings in your internal approval process and in follow-up discussions with the supplier.

01 · Findings

See the evidence

Identify the entity checked, the information reviewed, relevant sources and the limits of the searches performed.

02 · Implications

Understand the concern

See how a record or document inconsistency may affect the proposed transaction, with gaps and uncertainties clearly identified.

03 · Next steps

Know what to ask

Take a focused list of questions and points requiring clarification back to your supplier before signing or releasing funds.

Illustrative situation · not a client case

The invoice and proposed payee name different companies.

With the US$790 check: we compare the identities in the documents, flag the mismatch and identify what needs clarification. A mismatch alone does not establish wrongdoing.

With the US$1,690 review: we also examine how the agreed contract addresses payment and the parties’ obligations, identify relevant gaps, and discuss the findings with you.

Neither service independently certifies bank-account ownership or guarantees supplier performance.

How it works

Three steps before you transfer funds

01 · Enquire

Share the proposed purchase

Tell us the order value, whether this is your first purchase from the supplier and when you expect to pay. Select a service or ask us to help confirm the scope.

02 · Confirm scope

We check fit and conflicts

We confirm the work, fee and timetable in writing. The firm's engagement and payment instructions follow if we can accept the matter.

03 · Decide

Receive the findings

The report identifies what the records show, what remains unverified and what to clarify with the supplier before paying.

Before you instruct us

A clear scope from the start.

Which package should I choose?

Choose the US$790 Supplier check when your question concerns the company’s identity, public records and consistency of the party names in your documents. Choose the US$1,690 Transaction risk review when you also want the agreed purchase contract or order reviewed and a 30-minute explanation call. The second package includes the first.

What should I send, and how long will it take?

Start with the short form below. After an initial fit and conflict check, we arrange a suitable channel for the supplier’s business licence, quotation or order, proposed payment details and any contract within the agreed scope. We confirm the timetable after reviewing availability and the materials required; tell us your payment deadline before engaging us.

Does a registered company mean my payment is safe?

No. Registration confirms only part of the picture. Public records and documents cannot guarantee delivery, product quality, solvency or future conduct. Our report explains the findings and their limits. Site visits, technical inspections and independent bank-account verification require separately agreed work.

Can you review a purchase below US$50,000?

These fixed-fee services are designed for business purchases of US$50,000 or more. The form asks for the proposed order value so we can assess whether the scope fits your request.

How do I verify the law firm?

Beijing Gaojin Law Firm is based in Beijing. Our credentials page provides professional details and links to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice register so you can check them independently.
